\f0\fs24 \cf0 The death took place Tuesday at Malvern, Worcester, of Dr. Alfred Caldecott, late Dean of King's College, London, and Prebendary of St. Paul's Cathedral. He was 85. Dr. Caldecott, who was born at Chester, was the son of Mr. John Caldecott, a founder of the Society of Accountants. He was Master of Arts (gold medal list) of the University of London, and at Cambridge was Cobden Prize-man, and also Fellow and Dean of St. John's College, Cambridge. Dr. Caldecott resigned from the Post of Dean King's College, London, and Professor of Philosophy in 1917. For twenty years from 1915 to 1935 \'97he was Prebendary of St. Paul's. From 1919 until 1925 he was Rector of Great Oakley with ' Harwich.}
