The funeral of Mr. Joseph Caldicott, one of the members of a well-known Coventry family, took place yesterday at the cemetery.

WILL OF MR. JOSEPH CALDICOTT.
Probate of the will, dated November 14, 1891, with codicils made 22nd March 1892, and 25th April, 1895, of Mr. Joseph Caldicott, of Much Park Street, Coventry, and of the firm of J. and T. P. Caldicott, of Coventry, and of 24, Wood Street, London, ribbon manufacturer, for some years a member of the Coventry Town Council, and chairman of the Trustees' General Charities, who died on the 13th January last, aged sicty-nine years, leaving personal estate valued at £32, 318. 4s. 2d., has been granted to his son, Richard Botham Caldicott, his son-in-law, the Rev. Arthur Henry Caldicott, of Warbrough Vicarage, Walingford, and his brother-in-law, Charles William Helbling, of Leamington Priors, probate having been renounced by the testator's brother and partner, Thomas Parker Caldicott. The testator bequeathed to his wife £100., the use of his furniture and household effects, and the income of one moiety of his residuary estate, which, subject thereto, he left upon trust for his children, excepting that he gave the property to which he became entitled under the will of his late brother Richard to his said son, Richard Botham Caldicott, who is to have the option of acquiring his father's share in the business of R. and T. P. Caldicott, in which not exceeding £10,000. of the late Mr. Joseph Caldicott's capital may remain on loan, carrying interest at the rate of 4 per cent per annum.
